Rug Pattern | Tube Yarn | Hand Crochet | PDF
Thank you for your interest in hand crocheting this round rug! I originally made this rug for my new baby nephew and hope it is used as a soft place to lay, roll around, read, and play for years to come. However, it would also be a lovely floor cushion or accent rug in a bathroom or living room.

7 skeins tube yarn* (5 skeins of main color, 2 skeins for border color)
In this pattern I use our Stay Cozy tube yarn. It is available on my website, but you are welcome to use yarn from your own yarn stash or another business you love! Have fun with the colors and styles. When using tube yarn, length may vary slightly by skein as it is usually sold by weight instead of length. Having an extra skein on hand is never a bad idea so you don’t get stuck without enough yarn!

Techniques
This tutorial uses hand crochet techniques, also sometimes referred to as finger crochet. There is some overlap with hand knitting techniques, but it is more closely related to traditional crochet with a variety of stitch styles. However, with hand crochet there is no hook, and instead, your fingers act as the hook.
