It's blanket season! How to make 3 of my most popular blankets
Your guide to making three of my most popular Stay Cozy blankets
Thirteen boxes of cotton tube yarn, six boxes of ultra lux velvet tube yarn and two boxes of chenille yarn arrived in the last couple weeks. The colors include a restock of a bunch of fan faves!
As the temperatures drop, blanket season is upon us, and I have you covered with a few different options for your next creation. Below are blanket styles, supply lists, and resources to get started on three of my most popular Stay Cozy blankets: a sunburst granny square blanket, a sunflower granny square blanket, and a hand knit weighted blanket.
Chunky granny square blankets
Sunburst pattern: This is my OG granny square tutorial. Each square is about 20" x 20" and requires about 3.5 skeins of our chenille yarn total.
Estimated work time 45-60 minutes per square.
Sunflower pattern: This is the tutorail I originally made into a handbag, but recently made 20 squares into a full blanket! Each square is about 13" x 13" and requires about 1 skein of our chenille yarn total.
Estimated work time 15-30 minutes per square.
Gather your supplies:
Video tutorials for both granny square patterns are available on my website at the links below:
